Is EXPEDIA “Laundering” its brand and reputation

Drugs smugglers and the mob launder money to look legitimate. The Adquisition of EGENCIA.com by EXPEDIA reminds me “Scarface”.
In this case, EXPEDIA might be laundering its brand (and reputation) by buying other companies.

Is EXPEDIA reputation so bad that its Corporate Travel branch needs to use the name of a French company to keep their business?

Is EXPEDIA Corporate Travel ashamed of using “EXPEDIA”?

Lately other companies (like MSN, CITI and EasyJet) are trying to keep some distance from EXPEDIA . Is it because they don’t want to do business with scammers?

This Week, MSM replaced EXPEDIA with Orbitz in its website saying “bye. bye, EXPEDIA.

Citi prefers to invest in Google instead of EXPEDIA (EXPEDIA’s stocks are falling badly)

Expedia bought Egencia , a VC-backed French firm. Egencia claims 500 corporate customers and transacts two-thirds of its business online. It has branches in France, the UK and Belgium
